HMD Global and Vivo have started rolling out the May security patch update to Nokia 5.1 Plus and Vivo Y95 respectively. Both the updates are incremental and currently being rolled out via OTA (over-the-air).
Nokia 5.1 Plus
HMD Global has started rolling out the May 2020 security patch update to Nokia 5.1 Plus. This is a very small update as it only brings the latest security patch to the device. It weighs in at 25.61MB. FYI, the Nokia 5.1 Plus has officially received the much-awaited Android 10 update last month.
Now, all the interested Nokia 5.1 Plus users can easily search for the latest software update via the Settings – Advanced – System Update – Check for Update.
Vivo has also started seeding the May 2020 security patch update to the Vivo Y95. This update brings some minor fixes and improves the security of the device with the latest Google security patch. The update brings version number PD1818F_EX_A_1.19.1. The update fixes calendar widget unresponsiveness issue.
Users can manually check for the OTA update by going to Settings>System update to check for the new version.
