Nothing Phone 1 gets 3rd party charger compatibility, fingerprint icon toggle, and more with NothingOS 1.1.2 update

Nothing has released a new software update for the Nothing Phone 1. It comes with the software version NothingOS 1.1.2 and has a download size of 38.28MB. It’s not a security patch update. The device is getting several charging-related improvements, new AOD feature, fixes to some known issues, and more.

The latest NothingOS update for the Nothing Phone 1 is rolling out globally via OTA. The device gets a toggle for showing the fingerprint icon when the screen is off. After installing the latest update, the Always on Display (AOD) feature will not work at night. It has been turned off by default to save battery.

With the latest update, Nothing Phone 1 gets support for 3rd party chargers, which users were seeking for. Further, it optimizes the charging performance and UI details. Notably, the changelog has no mention of fixes or improvements to the green tint and deal pixel issue, which many users are facing. However, it mentions some general bug fixing and stability improvements.
