If you’re a Samsung beta tester and you’re waiting for the One UI 5.0 Beta 3 update to arrive, then you should prepare yourself for the bad news. Reliable Twitter tipster Ice Universe has revealed that the One UI 5.0 Beta 3 update has been delayed because of some unknown issues as it was supposed to be pushed out really soon.
In the meantime, Samsung has been updating its flagship devices with the current month’s patch – September 2022 Security Patch in many regions with the first device to receive the update being the Galaxy S21 Series.
Samsung had also delayed the release of One UI 5.0 Beta 2
Previously, Samsung had also delayed the One UI 5.0 Beta 2 update for its users. However, it was eventually rolled out to the Galaxy S22 Series users and other devices. The One UI 5 offers a watermark feature for Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S22 Series. Moreover, Samsung has also been testing One UI 4.1.1 or One UI 5.0 updates for its latest and older devices.
The One UI 5.0 Beta 2 update was expected to be released in the last week of August, however, it was reported back then by Ice Universe that Samsung will be delaying the release by a week. This delay was reportedly because of a major bug in the system animation and the company released the update once the bug was fixed.
It has been revealed that Samsung is currently working on refreshed app icons for its stock apps, which could be included in the second One UI 5.0 Beta Update for the Galaxy S22 lineup. The South Korean firm officially released Samsung Internet 19 Beta recently and it appears that Samsung has decided to implement Material You (Monet) icon for this app.
