OnePlus 6/6T OxygenOS update gets new screen recorder and more

The Chinese smartphone OEM OnePlus has started rolling out a new software update to its OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T device model. OnePlus 6/6T OxygenOS update gets new screen recorder and some of the bug fixes as well. The company is rolling out the OTA update with the version number of OxygenOS 9.0.15 for the OnePlus 6T and 9.0.7 for OnePlus 6 variant.

OnePlus 6/6T OxygenOS Update: Changelog

According to the changelog, OnePlus has added native Screen Recorder feature with this update. It was first included in OnePlus 7 series devices a few days ago. The software update also improves screen rotation feature the latest June 2019 Android security patch level. It also brings VoLTE/VoWiFi for Telia Denmark mobile operator support.

The OTA update is rolling out in staged mode and may take some time to receive to the devices completely. However, if you haven’t received the update yet, you can manually check it go to Settings > System > System Updates to check the update manually. If the update is not there, just wait for few more days for the update to come as these updates roll out in phase wise manner and take some time to available across the globe.

OnePlus soon going to roll out the Zen Mode for both the devices. The Zen mode allows the user to get rid off the device for almost 20 minutes to relax their mind. It’s a quite similar feature like Do Not Disturb mode. A few days ago, OnePlus also released Fnatic Mode to the OnePlus 7 series devices for the better gaming experience.
