The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T series have started receiving the latest January 2021 security patch update from the company via an OTA update. The devices which are getting the update are OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.
The latest update brings OxygenOS 10.3.8 [India & Global] for OnePlus 7. OxygenOS 10.0.11 [EU] for the OnePlus 7, and 10.3.8 [India & Global] / OxygenOS 10.0.11 [EU] for the OnePlus 7 Pro. On the other hand, the OxygenOS 10.3.8 [India] for OnePlus 7T . OxygenOS 10.0.16 [EU & Global] for the OnePlus 7T, and 10.3.8 [India] / OxygenOS 10.0.14 [EU & Global] for the OnePlus 7T Pro has been rolled out.
The update brings January 2021 security patch, improved call performance, and some general fixes and improvements. You can check for the update manually by heading to Settings ->Â System -> System update -> Check for update.Â

Steps to Install Update
Now, if in case, the update notification hasn’t arrived yet on your handset, then you should manually update the latest firmware by following the steps below.
Local Upgrade Method:
- Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package.
- Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
- Go to device Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Tap on top right icon -> Local upgrade -> Tap on the downloaded firmware package -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
- After the upgrade is complete, Tap on Restart.
- Update successful.​
