OnePlus is rolling out a new software update to OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro which brings June 2021 security patch. Samsung was the first to release June security patch and then followed by Google and now OnePlus joins the party. The new update for OnePlus 8 / 8 Pro is currently rolling out in India identified by software version OxygenOS 11.0.7.7.
As per the official forum post, the OxygenOS 11.0.7.7 for OnePlus 8 / 8 Pro fixes the shooting button fail issue when taking pictures with 48MP mode, and optimizes the device performance. The update is currently rolling out in India and will start heading to the EU and NA region very soon.

As always, the update is rolling out in an incremental fashion, which means that it will initially reach a small percentage of OnePlus 8 / 8 Pro users. And, then a broader rollout once no critical bugs are found. To manually check for the latest update on your OnePlus phone, navigate to Settings >> System >> System update >> Check for update.
