OnePlus 8T will bring 120Hz AMOLED display, Android 11, 48MP quad cameras and more

OnePlus usually launched a flagship smartphone or a flagship series by the end of September, as seen with OnePlus 7T. This year, the company is expected to unveil the OnePlus 8T.

A new leak from AndroidCentral reveals most of the specifications of OnePlus 8T. According to it, the phone has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen size remains the same but the refresh rate is quite higher than 90Hz in OnePlus 8.

The phone will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear side with a 48MP main camera. It joins with a 16MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP portrait lens. The OnePlus 8 also has a 48MP main camera, but the 8T features a new imaging sensor that will take better photos.

An earlier render of the OnePlus 8T showed that there will no major change in the design compared to the OnePlus 8. Further, the phone will run Android 11 OS with Oxygen OS 11 on the top. The 8T will be powered by Snapdragon 865+ flagship chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The company is also expected to launch OnePlus 8T Pro along with the regular 8T, but as of now, this is just a mystery.
