OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro get June 2022 security update with C.62 build

OnePlus has already released the June 2022 security update for the ColorOS variant of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. For those uninitiated, OnePlus launches its phones with ColorOS skin in China, while the rest of the world gets OxygenOS. The company has now started rolling out the June 2022 security update to the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro running OxygenOS 12.

The latest software update for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro comes with the firmware version LE2111_11_C.62 and LE2121_11_C.62, respectively. It mainly updates both devices to the June 2022 security patch. However, the update is not just limited to vulnerability fixes.

With the new incremental OTA update, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are getting a fix for the abnormal battery capacity display issue and the abnormal background color displaying problem in Quick Settings.

OnePlus 9, 9 Pro C.62 update changelog:

  • Fixed the issue that examining result of battery remaining capacity displayed abnormally
  • Fixed the issue that the background color of Quick Settings displayed abnormally in certain scenarios 
  • Updated Android security patch to 2022.06

OnePlus is currently pushing the C.62 build to the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro in the Indian market. However, it should expand to more regions in the coming weeks.
