OnePlus Nord CE gets OxygenOS 12 C.05 update

Earlier this month, OnePlus rolled out the stable OxygenOS 12 update, based on Android 12. Soon after installing the major OS update, users took to OnePlus forum to reported issues that they started to face on their phone. OnePlus seems to have taken users’ feedback seriously. As a result a hotfix has arrived with the firmware version EB2101_11.C.05.

According to the changelog published in a post on the OnePlus forum, the OxygenOS 12 based C.05 update for the OnePlus Nord CE improves the system stability. It also optimizes the fingerprint unlocking experience. After updating your device to the latest build, you should feel a bit of improvement with the system fluency and device unlocking.

As always, OnePlus is distributing the latest software update in an incremental fashion. It means that a limited number of users will get the update first, followed by a broader rollout in the coming days. Install the update right away if it is available, otherwise wait until it reaches your phone.

OnePlus Nord CE (also known as OnePlus Nord Core Edition) was released last year. It has a 6.41-inch 90Hz AMOLED screen. It is powered by the Snapdragon 750 5G chipset and packs a 4,500mAh battery. Around the back, the device features a 64MP triple camera setup. The device came with Android 11 out of the box, and finally got upgraded to Android 12 earlier this month.
