Back in July, Oppo launched the A72 5G smartphone in China that carries model number PECM10 / PECT10. Today, a mysterious Oppo smartphone with model number PECM30 has been spotted on Geekbench and the Oppo PECT30 on TENAA certification. Together the model number PCEM30/PECT30 resembles the model number of A72 5G and thus speculated to be a new variant of the Oppo A72 5G.
Starting with the Geekbench listing, it shows that the smartphone carries a MediaTek MT6853 chipset, which is the MediaTek 720 SoC. The handset runs Android 10 OS and has 6GB of RAM. The Oppo PECM30 manages to score 512 points in the single-core test and 1658 points in the multi-core test.
TENAA listing of the smartphone reveals that it has a 6.5-inch FullHD+ LCD display with a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. The display has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone has 4GB / 6GB / 8GB RAM variants and internal storage of 128GB.
Around the back, it has a triple camera setup which consists of 16MP + 2MP + 2MP and a single 8MP sensor on the front. The smartphone packs a 3,945mAh rated capacity battery. Color options listed on TENAA are – black/white and purple/silver red. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As of now, details regarding the launch is currently a mystery.
