The Oppo Reno 8 5G is the company’s most recent smartphone to have the ColorOS 13 update, which is based on Android 13. The Find X5 line, the Find X3 Pro, and the Reno 8 Pro 5G have all received the update from the manufacturer. The moment has come for users of the most basic version of Android to begin experiencing the new capabilities included in version 13.
In August, Google introduced Android 13 for Pixel phones. Also, after a brief period of testing, additional OEMs have begun releasing stable versions of Android 13 for compatible devices. At present, the update has been released to a select number of high-end handsets; eventually, it will reach all customers.
ColorOS 13 has arrived on the Oppo Reno 8 as promised in the company’s November roadmap, which was released at the beginning of the month.
In India, the stable Android 13 update is rolling out to the Oppo Reno 8 5G. Nonetheless, expansion to further markets is imminent. Version C.13 is the current build that includes the upgrade. Android 12.0 with the most recent A.17 build supports it.
Aquamorphic design, new and large widgets, additional theme palettes, smoother animations, new icons, heightened gaming, increased privacy and security, and much more are just some of the modifications and new features introduced in the update. Android’s security patch level may also be increased with the update.
As long as you have an Oppo Reno 8 5G and follow the instructions, you will be able to get the OTA update on your device.
