Oppo Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G listed on JD.com with renders and key specifications

Oppo Reno5 series is expected to go official in China on December 10. Ahead of the launch, the Oppo Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G have been listed on Chinese retailer JD.com that reveals its key specifications and renders. Recent leaks suggest that there could be a third model in the series called Oppo Reno5 Pro Plus.

As per the JD listing, both Oppo Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G will be offered in three colors: Aurora Blue, Moonlit Night (Black), and ‘Galaxy into a dream (pink-blue gradient). The smartphones will feature a 64-megapixel triple camera setup on the back. The Reno5 and Reno5 Pro look similar from the rear side but different on the front. We can see that Reno5 has a flat panel whereas the Pro model has a curved panel.

The smartphones will come in two storage options: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Both the phones have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera at the same location and support 65W fast charging. The Reno5 5G is said to have a 6.43-inch display, whereas the pro model may have a slightly bigger 6.55-inch display.

Talking about the chipset, the vanilla Oppo Reno5 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC and the Pro model may feature Dimensity 1000+ SoC. The JD listing does not reveal the prices, but recently it was tipped that Oppo Reno5 5G could cost around CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 33,800) and the Reno5 Pro 5G to be priced around CNY 3,799 (approx Rs 42,800).
