Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G specs leak through device Settings

Oppo is all set to launch the Reno5 5G series on December 10 in China. The company has officially revealed the smartphone design and a few details. But, now we have more specs of the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G that leaks through the device info option within the Settings app.

The Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. It will boot Android 11 OS with ColorOS 11.1 on the top. The top-end variant of the smartphone has 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. While its lower end variant has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The second image confirms that the phone has a 90Hz refresh rate support. Reno5 Pro carries a model number PDSM00, which was recently spotted on TENAA.

TENAA listing revealed that Oppo Reno5 Pro (PSDM00) has a 6.55-inch display and measures 159.7×73.2×7.6 mm. The phone uses dual-cell batteries with each having a 2,125mAh rated battery capacity. So, getting a total rated capacity of 4,250mAh with a typical of around 4,300mAh. The base variant of Reno5 Pro 5G is said to come with a price tag of around CNY 3,899 and the top tier model is priced at CNY 4,299.

Rumors are that Oppo will introduce three smartphones in Reno5 5G lineup which are: Reno5 5G, Reno5 Pro 5G, and Reno5 Pro+ 5G. It’s worth mentioning that Oppo has only listed the vanilla Reno5 and Reno5 Pro, while there is no mention of Reno5 Pro+. A recent report suggests that Reno5 Pro+ 5G might be the world’s first smartphone to get a 50MP Sony IMX7xx sensor.
