OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is now live!

After the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9RT, two more OnePlus smartphones are set to receive the new Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta.  If you’re a OnePlus 8 or OnePlus 8 Pro user, you can participate in the OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta program. OnePlus is very quick this time with new updates as compared to last year.

The OnePlus 8 Series was launched back in 2020 and the Android 13 update will be the last major update that this series will be getting according to the OEM’s three major update policy for flagship phones.

Changelog for the OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta program

As for the changes and new features, OxygenOS 13 will come with an aquamorphic design, which is the most significant change in terms of UI. The other features include better HyperBoost for gaming, considerably better privacy, and more.

OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be available for a limited number of users. The exact number is 200 seats for both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro combined. This means that only the first 200 users will be able to join the Android 13 Closed Beta program. OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta program will last for 2-3 months and the open beta should be expected once the OnePlus 10 Pro receives the stable OxygenOS 13 update.
