A new Open beta firmware has been released for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. Both the devices have started getting the new Oxygen OS Open Beta 6 update with March 2020 security patch.

A few weeks ago, the company has released the OxygenOS Open Beta 10 update for OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro. Now the company has released a new beta update for One Plus 6 and 6T. This new firmware update brings the March 2020 Security Patch with improved system security, and plenty of other bugs as well. If you’re using the OnePlus 6/6T with Open Beta build, you can download the Open Beta 6 update right now.

The firmware update also brings some newly added features like now you can unlock the LockBox without any problem in the File Manager. Some issues like crashes in the Launcher with apps in a full-screen display has now been addressed. The new update also fixes the blank screens while clearing up all the background apps issue.

To do this, head over to the Settings – System – System update – Check for update. if available, you can download and install the OTA. Otherwise, you can manually do so by following the steps below.
