Xiaomi developers have been busy rolling out the Android beta-based MIUI update for its flagship handsets. In the meantime, other devices have been receiving the September 2022 security patch updates, with Poco C3 and Redmi 10A being two of the latest recipients of the update.
Although not a lot of official information is available as of now, Xiaomi has been rolling out the September 2022 Security Update for Poco C3 users in India and Redmi 10A in China. The update comes with the firmware version V220.127.116.11.QCRINXM | 10.0 and V18.104.22.168.RCZCNXM | 11.0 for Poco C3 and Redmi 10A respectively.

The new update will come with the latest September 2022 Security Patch update and offer improvements to the security quotient of the handset. Unfortunately, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new features or changes but it’ll certainly come with some improvements for increasing the performance and stability of the device.
How to install the September 2022 Security Patch Update?
The Poco C3 users in India and Redmi 10A users in China have started receiving the latest September 2022 Security Update. This update is being rolled out in a phased manner and will be available to a limited number of users initially before it gradually gets rolled out to all users. Keep an eye on the notifications, and if you’ve not got the update yet, have a little patience, it will certainly arrive in the next few days. To manually check for the update, the users can follow these simple instructions –
- Go to the Settings menu
- Select ‘System Updates’ and locate the update
- Download the update and install it
- Reboot once the installation is complete
