POCO M3 Indian variant spotted in Google Play Supported Device list

Last week, Poco announced the Poco M3 globally as the company’s latest affordable smartphone. At the launch, the company didn’t make any announcement regarding the India launch of Poco M3. But, now the Indian variant of the smartphone with model number M2010J19CI has been spotted in the Google Play Supported Devices list.

Poco M3 has a lot of specifications common to the Redmi Note 9 4G (Chinese variant). The M3 offers a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie shooter. One of the main USP of the device is a large 6,000mAh capacity battery. It also supports fast charging up to 18W through a USB Type-C port.

The triple camera setup on the back consists of a 48MP primary shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Under the hood, the Poco M3 is powered by Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. Other notable features include – a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and IR blasters.

In US, the Poco M3 starts from $149 (roughly Rs 11,000) for the 4GB/64GB variant and goes to $169 (roughly Rs 12,500) for the 4GB/128GB variant. As of now, there is no word from the company for the launch of Poco M3 in India, but it should not take too long.
