Realme C11 (2021), Narzo 50i pick up the October 2021 security update

Realme is upgrading Realme C11 (2021) and Narzo 50i to the October 2021 security patch with the new OTA update. It is rolling out in India with the firmware versions RMX3231_11.A.51 and RMX3231_11.A.51 for Realme C11 (2021) and Narzo 50i, respectively.

According to the changelog mentioned Realme community post (1, 2), the October 2021 security update also brings improvements to system stability. It fixes some known issues, which are not detailed in the changelog.

The latest OTA update for Realme C11 (2021) and Narzo 50i is a minor security patch update. Therefore, don’t expect it to bring any major changes like new features, performance improvements, or changes to the user interface (UI).

The new security patch should bump the system security and privacy by fixing over a dozen of vulnerabilities. Therefore, it’s always recommended to keep the device updated with the latest security update available. The October 2021 security update for Realme C11 (2021) and Narzo 50i is rolling out in India and should expand to other regions over the next few days.
