Realme C2 (RMX1941) is one of the budget level smartphones that was launched in 2019. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie over ColorOS 6 Lite version out-of-the-box. Recently, Realme has started the Realme UI (Android 10) early beta program for the Realme C2 model. Now, the successful Realme C2 beta testers or applicants are receiving the Realme UI (Android 10) update officially. Though the update was expected to release earlier, there was some server issue and it released yesterday on August 18, 2020.
So, Realme C2 is receiving the Realme UI 1.0 update over Android 10 that bumps up a new software version RMX1945EX_11_C.41 or RMX1941EX_11_C.41 respectively. The update file size is around 2GB that has been shared by one user on Realme Community.
As the update is currently available for beta testers only, the stable ColorOS 6 Lite users need to wait for a while until the beta program end successfully. Meanwhile, all the interested beta applicants should know that the beta build always comes with bugs and stability issues. So, if in case, you can’t deal with bugs or unstable firmware, stay on the current firmware.
It’s expected that the stable Android 10 update for the Realme C2 will arrive sometime in September 2020. So, have some patience until the stable version releases.
