Realme is expanding the May 2022 security patch reach to more devices, with the latest ones being the Realme C25 and Narzo 50A. Following Google and Samsung, the Chinese smartphone brand started rolling out the newest security patch last week, now available for two more Realme phones.
Realme C25 is getting its latest software update with the firmware version RMX3193_11_C.04. According to the changelog, it mainly brings the May 2022 security patch to enhance system security and privacy. The device is also getting improvements to system performance and stability.
Realme Narzo 50A, on the other hand, has also joined the May 2022 security patch party with the latest update. The latest build can be identified by the firmware version RMX3430_11_A.13. In addition to the May 2022 security patch, the device is also getting the April 2022 security patch, system stability optimizations, and fixes to some previously known issues.
Realme C25 and Narzo 50A users should be receiving the May 2022 security patch update anytime soon if they haven’t received it already. Alternatively, navigate to Settings >> Software update to manually check for new updates.
Both the Realme smartphones fall under the budget category. While the Realme C25 came last year, the Narzo 50A arrived earlier this year. Despite launching a year after C25, the Narzo 50A is still running on Android 11, unfortunately. However, the company has promised the Android 12 update for the Narzo 50A, but no such confirmation for Realme C25.
