Recently, Realme CMO Xu Qi teased some of the upcoming Realme smartphones, without announcing a launch date. Yesterday, Xu Qi posted an image on Weibo carrying a “7up can” and “New soon” text. The number 7 from “7up” is believed to be the arrival of “Realme 7” or “Realme X7” series which might unveil on the next Realme launch event rumoured to be held on September 1.
The latest from Realme Weibo account suggests that the company may announce the launch date tomorrow. A Chinese tipster (@长安数码君今) says that Realme will hold a launch event on September 1. On the same date, ZTE and Honor will also hold a launch event. ZTE might unveil the ZTE Axon 20 5G which is the world’s first phone with the under-screen front camera, and Honor is expected to unveil some wearable devices.
A reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the two upcoming Realme smartphones which will pack 4,300mAh and 4,500mAh battery. Both the phone measures 8.xmm and supports 65W fast charging.
These two smartphones are more likely to be the RMX2176 and RMX2121 because both the smartphone matches the specifications mentioned above. TENAA listing reveals that both the phone features a dual-cell battery with a rated capacity of 2,100mAh for RMX2176 and 2,200mAh for RMX2121. The RMX2176 measures 8.1mm thickness while the RMX2121 measures 8.5mm.
As per the 3C certification, the RMX2121 supports 65W fast charging. TENAA listing for RMX2176 confirms that the phone will have a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display and 32MP punch-hole selfie camera. On the back, it features quad-camera setup which consists of 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP. Further, the listing shows Snapdragon 765G processor, paired with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB internal storage.
