Realme X2 bags August 2021 security patch update

Last month, Realme X2 started receiving the awaited Android-11 Realme UI 2.0 update. After installing the update, users reported facing several issues. Now, the company has released the August 2021 security update for Realme X2, along with fixes for a calling screen issue.

The latest software update for Realme X2 is currently rolling out in India. According to the Realme community post, the update comes bundled with the firmware version RMX1992AEX_11.F.23.

In addition to the August 2021 security patch, the new OTA update fixes an issue where “the screen would not turn off when you lift the phone to your ear during calls”. It also brings improvements to system stability and performance that result in a better user experience.
