Realme X2 launched with Snapdragon 730G SoC: Specifications and Price

The Oppo sub-brand Realme has just launched the Realme X2 device after so many leaks and rumours. The new Realme device which is a rebranded version of the Realme XT. It sports a quad-camera setup at the rear side of a 64MP primary sensor. The X2 packs a Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display along with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC for enhanced gaming performance.

It includes Oppo VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology which charges the battery in quick time and offers longer battery juice. The handset currently running on ColorOS 6 over Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. However, it’s expected that the device will receive the Android 10 in Q1, 2020 officially.

Realme X2 Specifications

The dual Nano-SIM supported Realme X2 comes with a 6.4-inches Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 1080×2340 pixels resolution, and 91.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. It has a waterdrop-style notch with a slight chin at the bottom. It includes an in-display fingerprint sensor along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device is powered by Snapdragon 730G SoC, paired with 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.1 storage options. While the storage is expandable via a MicroSD card.

The handset sports a quad rear camera setup which includes a 64MP primary Samsung GW1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens. While the setup includes an 8MP secondary wide-angle sensor (f/2.25), a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP sensor for 4cm macro shots. It has a 32MP selfie sensor at the front side with AI modes.

In terms of the connectivity options, it includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. While the device features an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. It sports a 4,000 mAh battery with 30W Oppo VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology. It measures 158.7×75.2×8.6mm and weighs around 182 grams.

Price and Availability

The Realme X2 price starts in China at CNY 1,599 (INR 15,900 approx) for the 6GB + 64GB variant. While the 8GB + 128GB variant priced at CNY 1,899 (INR 18,900 approx). The device comes in Pearl Blue and Pearl White color options and pre-orders are now available via the Realme website in China.

Realme is offering a discount of CNY 100 (INR 1,000 approx) to the customers between September 24 and September 26 for the X2 model. For other countries, we have to wait for a few weeks more to get more info.
