Realme X50 5G, X50m 5G, and X7 Pro get the January 2022 security patch update

Realme continues to release the January 2022 security patch with the Realme X50 5G, X50m 5G, and X7 Pro being the latest phones to receive it. The security patch fixed a bunch of vulnerabilities and also improves system stability.

The January 2022 security update for Realme X50 5G and X50m 5G is tagged with the build version C.17, while it is reaching Realme X70 Pro users as C.24. Regardless of the different build versions, the changelog for all three devices is same.

According to the changelog shared by RMupdate, the latest OTA update brings December 2021 and January 2022 security patches. Also, the devices are getting improvements in terms of system performance and stability.

The latest OTA update for Realme X50 5G, X50m 5G, and X7 Pro is reportedly rolling out in China. It will soon expand to more regions. The update is likely to be rolling out in a staged fashion. So, it may take a couple of days to reach all the units.
