Redmi 9i is expected to launch soon in India as today its moniker has been spotted in the Bluetooth SIG listing. The device appeared in the listing with mode number M2006C3LII and suggests that the launch is not too far. Like the other devices in Redmi 9 series, this will also be an affordable smartphone with 4G connectivity. The Bluetooth SIG listing reveals that the phone will boot MIUI 12 custom skin on the top.
According to some previous reports, the phone might launch as a rebranded version of Redmi 9A. So, we can expect the Redmi 9i to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. As for the display, Redmi 9A features a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display, we expect the same in 9i.
The phone is likely to be powered by MediaTek Helio G25 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. We are most likely to see a MicroSD slot also. A 5,000mAh battery is expected to power the phone that charges through a 10W normal charger.
