The global variant of Redmi 9T is now receiving January 2021 security patch update. It fixes different levels of exploits and thus enhances the device security.
In addition to the new security patch, the update also fixes an issue where incorrect app data stats were shown on the storage page. The update is hitting Redmi 9T (Global) with firmware version V12.0.6.0.QJEMIXM. Users of Redmi 9T can check for the latest update by heading to Settings -> About phone -> System update.
We have also added a download link for the latest ROM for those who want a manual installation. The recovery ROM weighs just over 2GB.
