Xiaomi has started rolling out the latest September 2020 security patch update to Redmi Note 9 Pro (codenamed joyeuse). The all-new MIUI 11.0.7.0 Global Stable ROM (V11.0.7.0.QJZMIXM) is now made available for the device. The best part is the full firmware file is now available for download as well.
This new update is a Global Stable ROM. If your device is running on a Global Stable ROM, only then you will get the update via OTA. Otherwise, you have to install it manually. The update is based on Android 9. The Full firmware size is around 1.7 GB. You can follow our guide to manually flash the full firmware on your device.
If your device is not rooted, then your device may have received the update. You can manually check whether the update is available in your region or not. Go to Settings –> About Phone –> Check for Software Update.
