  1. Question: I have a OxygenOS 2.2.1 TWRP backup. Can I use this modified TWRP to restore from this 2.2.1 backup? I want to roll back to 2.2.1 OS.

    Thanks

      • Thanks. I have tried it but after the restore, the boot up is stuck at the 1+ logo. However, I think I’ll try again because even when I changed back u on 3.0 beta, it took a long time to boot.

          • I’m not sure if the normal TWRP would work. Before I found out the modified TWRP, I did used a normal one and I wasn’t able to get into Recovery.
Question : isn’t the Recovery somewhat independent to the OS? When I loaded the normal TWRP, I wasn’t able to boot neither into Recovery nor OS.

          • Sometimes this happens.Once i also faced the same issue with One Plus X.Then i tried a modified version of TWRP recovery and that worked.I recommend you try modified TWRP if the Original is not working or go to One plus Forums there you can get the latest TWRP compatible with Oneplus 2.

    • Hi, I think I’ll wait till you’ve tried it, I’ve already soft bricked the phone once, luckily it’s under warranty and I managed to get them to fix it via remote session. Can you let me know when you’ve tested it and I’ll try again then.

      Thank you
