Samsung Galaxy A13 5G receiving Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update in the US

The entry-level 5G phone, Galaxy A13 5G, has now started picking up the Android 12 update in the US. The latest software update brings One UI 4.1 which adds a new set of features, in addition to that in Android 12. It can be identified by the firmware version A136USQU2BVE9.

The Android 12 update for the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is currently rolling out for the carrier-locked variants in the US, as per Sammobile. The new software update also includes the May 2022 security patch that fixes various kinds of vulnerabilities to improve user privacy and data security.

The Android 12-based One UI 4.1 is an exciting update as it brings a refreshed UI, new features, new widgets, and major improvements to privacy. The update brings Material You color themes that literally change your phone’s design in a single click. This feature extracts colors from the wallpaper and applies them across the elements on your phone.

The RAM Plus feature is getting an improvement in One UI 4.1. It now allows you to choose the amount of space to use as a virtual RAM. The Samsung keyboard has now been integrated with Grammarly. With One UI 4.1, you also get the ability to turn off Game Optimization Service (GOS). Samsung has added Google Duo Live Sharing that lets you share the screen with others during a video call and SmartThings Find to share find lost devices.
