Samsung’s impressive software update rollout continues with the February security patch. The South Korean giant was the first to release the February update, which has already started rolling out to Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy A50s, and now, it’s time for Galaxy A51 to receive the February security patch.
The latest software update for Galaxy A51 comes with the firmware version A515FXXS5EVA1. For now, it is reportedly rolling out in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Uruguay. And soon, the update will cover more regions.
The February update for Galaxy A51 is unlikely to bring major changes. However, it bumps device system security and privacy by adding the latest security patch.
Samsung Galaxy A51 users in the above-specified regions are receiving the latest update. Those who have not received it yet can manually check for new updates from the Software Updates section under the Settings app.
The smartphone was released back in 2019 with Android 10 out of the box. Thanks to a major upgrade, it is now running Android 11 OS and is also eligible for the Android 12 upgrade, which could start rolling out soon.
