Samsung Galaxy A52 users get One UI 5.0 Beta 2

Samsung developers are busy working on the latest updates for the flagship and high-end devices but other devices have been getting the updates as well. One UI 5 is the newest software for Samsung Galaxy smartphones and it’ll be based on Android 13 firmware. Samsung will launch the One UI 5 update at the SDC event on October 12th. As you might know, Samsung has already been testing the One UI 5 Beta for numerous Galaxy phones, including the mid-range beast Galaxy A52.

The One UI 5.0 Beta 2 Update for Galaxy A52 comes with the software version ZVJ2 and build number A525FXXU4ZVJ2. The new update has started rolling out in India and it’s expected to become available in other regions in the coming days and weeks.

The One UI 5 will be based on Android 13 and it’ll bring numerous new features. The first beta for Galaxy A52 was released last month and it introduced most of the One UI 5 features to the device. As it was the first beta, it comes with a few issues and the second beta will eliminate those bugs.

The update has fixed bugs like the crashing of the Settings app on trying to open “Connections”, the issue of the draw option in the photo editor, the wallpaper bug, the problem of fingerprint error on the black screen, and other minor bug fixes.

If you’re a Samsung Galaxy A52 user in India, you will receive the OTA update on your phone as long as you’ve joined the One UI 5 Beta Program. If you have not joined the Beta Program yet, there will be no point in joining this program now as the stable update is expected to come out soon.

If you want to check for the update manually, head over to Settings -> Software Update. It’ll show you the One UI 5.0 Beta 2 Update and you’ll need to tap on Download and Install button to get the new beta update.
