Samsung Galaxy A52s gets August 2022 security update in Europe

Samsung started rolling out the August 2022 security patch update to the Galaxy A52s users last week. However, the update was limited to South Korea only, which is now expanding to more countries. Now, Galaxy A52s users in Europe have begun collecting the August 2022 security patch.

The latest software update for the Galaxy A52s users in Europe comes with the firmware version A528BXXU1CVG7. The update mainly brings the August 2022 security patch improves device security and user privacy by fixing dozens of vulnerabilities of different severity levels.

Samsung Galaxy A52s is also getting updates to as many as 11 stock applications for a smooth experience. We are not sure what the new version of stock apps brings, but we can safely assume that at least some of them might be getting new features and improvements. The August security patch for Samsung phones fixes over 50 vulnerabilities related to security and privacy. Some of these are related to Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, Samsung DeX, Samsung Dialer, and more. It’s recommended to install the update as soon as it hits your phone.

If you are an owner of the Samsung Galaxy A52s in South Korean or Europe, the update may have already reached your phone. In case you have missed the update notification, go to Settings >> Software update and tap on Download and install to get the update.

The Galaxy A52s 5G is a popular mid-range phone from the South Korean brand. It came last year with Android 11 out of the box.
