Samsung Galaxy A52s running Android 13 or 12L spotted on CheckFirm

Samsung is looking to be testing a new major OS update for the Galaxy A52s. The new test firmware has been spotted on the CheckFirm app with the firmware version A528BXXU1DVH1. Although it does not explicitly reveal the Android version, speculations are that the firmware version might belong to either Android 13 or Android 12L.

The Galaxy A52s was released last year with Android 11 out of the box. It has already secured its first OS update in the form of Android 12. And, according to Samsung’s software update policy, the Galaxy A52s will be upgraded to Android 13.

Does the CheckFirm suggest new OS update for the Galaxy A52s is coming sooner than expected? Well, we can’t be sure about this at this point. But, what we know is that Samsung has already kicked off the Android 13-based One UI 5 Beta program for the Galaxy S22 series in various parts of the world. In the coming weeks, more devices will be added to One UI 5 beta program.
