Samsung Galaxy A72 users start receiving the March 2022 Security Patch Update

Samsung Galaxy A72 was launched in March last year and the device came with the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box. A few weeks back, Samsung officially released the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy A72 users. While other handsets have already bagged the One UI 4.1 update, the Galaxy A72 isn’t expected to receive the update in the near future. In the meantime, the South Korean OEM has started rolling out the March 2022 Security Update for the Galaxy A72 users in Russia.

The new March 2022 Security Update can be identified easily as it comes with the build number A725FXXU4BVC1. The update will come with minor enhancements, and general bug fixes, while it’ll also enhance the system security by offering fixes to more than 50 CVEs from Samsung and Android.
