Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series picks up April 2022 security update in the US

Samsung has now released the April 2022 security patch update for Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Lite users in the United States. The new OTA update is rolling out to both the carrier and unlocked variants. The latest security update for Galaxy Note 10 series has started rolling out in Malaysia and now it has reached the US.

As mentioned in Samsung’s documentation, the April 2022 security patch includes fixes for a total of 88 vulnerabilities from Samsung and Google. Installing it on your device increases system security and privacy. More specifically, the security patch fixes vulnerabilities related to the Samsung Contacts app, Samsung DeX Home, One UI Home, Storage Manager Service, and more.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ carrier variants are receiving the update with the firmware version N97xUSQS7HVCD, whereas the unlocked variants are receiving it as  N97xU1UES7HFCD.

If you are a Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ user, you might be right on the edge of receiving the new software update, if haven’t received it already. Either wait for a notification or head over to the Software section under the Settings app to manually check for the updates.
