Samsung Galaxy S21 series getting September 2021 security update

Samsung was the first to roll out the September 2021 security update. The newest security update has already started hitting Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S20 FE 5G, and more. Now, Samsung has pushed the September 2021 security update to Galaxy S21 series as well. 

According to Sammobile report, the new software update is currently rolling out in Europe. It can be identified by the firmware version G99xBXXS3AUHD. It is a minor security patch that does not bring any new features, performance improvements, or changes to the user interface.

Samsung has not yet detailed the September 2021 security patch. So, the list of vulnerabilities getting fixed is currently unknown. Usually, it is announced in the first or second week of the month.

Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra is receiving the newest security update in Europe. We can expect the update to start hitting other regions over the next few days. You can manually check for the new update by navigating to Settings >> Software updates.
