Samsung Galaxy S21 (SM-G991U) clears NFC certification

Samsung Galaxy S21 series is the company’s next series of flagship smartphones. The Galaxy S21 vanilla model bearing model number SM-G991U now clears NFC certification. The certification does not much details but confirms the presence of NFC technology.

Recently, a popular tipster goes by the name Onleaks shared the CAD-based renders of the device. The renders suggest that the Galaxy S21 has a total of 5 cameras sensors on the back, one of them could be a 3D ToF sensor. The design looks pretty interesting from the back.

The front panel has a small cutout to house a selfie camera. Previous leaks surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S21 suggest that it may feature a 108-megapixel primary camera and 25W fast charging too. The Galaxy S20 series is likely to include a “Plus” and an “Ultra” variant.

Some reports believe that the Galaxy S21 series will ship with the un-announced Snapdragon 875 chipset which is based on the 5nm process. 3C certification suggests that the standard variant will pack a 3,880mAh battery whereas the higher variant (Galaxy S21+) will pack a larger 4,800mAh battery.
