Samsung Galaxy S22 series gets April 2022 security patch update

Samsung has again become the first Android OEM to release the latest security patch. We are talking about the April 2022 security patch, which has just landed on the Galaxy S22 series.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S22 series started rolling out in South Korea, and it has already started expanding in European countries, such as Germany. The latest package updates the Android security patch level to April 2022.

In addition to the latest security patch, the newest build also improves UHD 30/60fps video recording performance in low memory conditions. It also updated as many stock apps, such as Samsung Members, Samsung Pay, Samsung Kinds, Samsung Wearable, and Calculator.

Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra April update

In South Korea, the April 2022 security update is rolling out for Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra with firmware versions S901NKSU1AVCK, S906NKSU1AVCK, and S908NKSU1AVCK, respectively. While in Germany, the update comes with firmware versions S901BXXU1AVCJ, S906BXXU1AVCJ, and S908BXXU1AVCJ for Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra users in South Korea and Germany have already started receiving the April 2022 security update. It might take a couple of days to reach all users as the update is being rolled out in a staged fashion. You can head over to the Software update section under the Settings app to manually check for new updates.
