Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite finally gets Android 12 (One UI 4.1) update

Although Samsung has updated nearly all eligible Galaxy devices to Android 12, there are still a couple of devices running on Android 11. However, the list is getting short as more and more devices are joining the Android 12 party. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is the latest phone to get the Android 12 update with One UI 4.1 custom skin.

Samsung is currently distributing the Android 12 update to the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in limited regions. It includes Germany and Hong Kong. In the coming days, the update will be rolled out to more regions. The latest OTA update comes with the firmware version T225XXU1BVGB. In addition to Android 12 and One UI 4.1 cool features and optimizations, the device is getting upgraded to July 2022 security patch.

There’s a lot to look forward to in Android 12. It brings a refreshed UI with a Material You-based Color Palette feature, a new widget picker UI, new widgets, better animations and transitions. Moreover, it includes Grammarly-integrated Samsung Keyboard, built-in editing tools, privacy indicators, improved Privacy Dashboard, RAM Plus, and Google Duo Live Sharing.
