Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 listed on TENAA ahead of Sep 9 launch

At the Galaxy Unpacked event held on August 5, the company highlighted the Galaxy Z Fold 2, a successor of Galaxy Fold. Samsung says that it has made several upgradations to the design, while kept remains silent about the specs. The phone has been listed on TENAA with images and some key details.

The  TENAA listing shows model number SM-F9160, dual-mode 5G support and manufacturer country Vietnam. The TENAA certification authority is yet to publish full details.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will sport a 7.6-inch internal display with a punch-hole camera on the right side and the cover/external display measures 6.2-inch. The display features 120Hz high refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It is rumoured to be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 865 Plus processor paired with 12GB of RAM. The 12GB RAM is expected to be paired with 256GB/512GB internal storage.

It is already confirmed that Samsung will unveil Galaxy Z Fold 2 on September 9 in China. In US, pre-order will be live on September 2 while the open sale starts from September 18. The phone will be available in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colours. Samsung will also bring a Thom Browne Edition that will come along with Galaxy Buds Live / Galaxy Watch3 in the package.
