Samsung releases February 2022 security update for Galaxy A32 5G, Galaxy A51 in the US

Samsung has released the February 2022 security patch for dozens of Galaxy phones and has already started rolling out the March security patch. Still, the South Korean giant continues to send the February security patch to more devices, where the latest ones are the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A32 5G.

The latest software update for Galaxy A32 5G is rolling out to carrier-locked variants in the US, more specifically Sprint and T-Mobile’s networks. The OTA update incorporates the February 2022 security patch that fixes over 60 vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. It is rolling out with the firmware version A326USQU7AVB1.

Samsung Galaxy A51 has also started picking up the February 2022 security patch update. It is also rolling out on the US carrier Xfinity Mobile with firmware version A515USQS7CVB1. The update might also include general bug fixing and device stability improvements.

Galaxy A51, Galaxy A32 5G February update

Galaxy A32 5G or Galaxy A51 users in the US have started picking up the February 2022 security update. For those, who have not received it yet, navigate to Settings >> Software updates to check for the latest update available on your phone.

Samsung released the Galaxy A51 back in 2019 with Android 10, while the Galaxy A32 5G came last year with Android 11 out of the box. The Galaxy A51 has already received Android 11 as its first major Android upgrade and users are now waiting for the stable Android 12

 update to arrive. Galaxy A32 5G is also yet to receive the Android 12 update.
