Samsung releases One UI 5.0 Beta 3 for Galaxy Z Fold 4

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 5.0 Beta 3 update for the newest foldable smartphone – Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 in India. Previously, Samsung Galaxy S21 Series had received the Beta 3 update. The new update is being rolled out with the firmware version ZVKI and has also become the first smartphone to have received the November 2022 Security Patch. The update comes as a file 541.09 MB in size, which means you’ll need to connect your device to a high-speed Wi-Fi connection and have over 60% battery on your smartphone.

As for the changes, the One UI 5.0 Beta 3 Update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 will address the no audio issue in buds when you were changing source through the media panel in BT Carkit, bring improvements to performance issues, fixed wallpaper temporarily appearing smaller when the device is unfolded, and more.

The update will also fix the bug where the taskbar disappeared when unfolding after using a gesture or the device restarting after receiving a notification from the Signal app. The new beta update has also brought improvements to the camera app including Camera focusing issues when switching between lenses, the camera cannot enter AR Emoji Studio, camera previewing stuttering, removing the flicker in super slow motion editor, and more.

If you’re a Galaxy Z Fold 4 user, you will be receiving the OTA update on your phone as long as you’ve joined the One UI 5 Beta Program. If you have not joined the Beta Program yet, there will be no point in joining this program now as the stable update is expected to come out soon.

If you want to check for the update manually, head over to Settings -> Software Update. It’ll show you the One UI 5.0 Beta 3 Update and you’ll need to tap on Download and Install button to get the new beta update.
