Samsung adds two new members to the list of devices running Android 12 OS. These are Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy F41. Android 12 is the second major date for both the Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy F41, as they were released in 2020 with Android 10 out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G is getting the Android 12 update with the firmware version A716USQU6EVD3. All the recent Galaxy phones who bagged the Android 12 update also got the One UI 4.1 skin. So, the Galaxy A71 5G should also be getting the latest One UI skin. For now, the update is available to the locked variant of Galaxy A71 5G on the US Cellular. It should be available on other US carriers soon.
Apart from the One UI and Android 12 goodies, the latest software update for Galaxy A71 5G also bumps the Android security patch level to April 2022. The security patch fixes as many as 88 vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy.
Although One UI 4.1 may seem a minor upgrade over One UI 4.0, it adds several noteworthy features such as the Grammarly-integrated Samsung keyword to write better, Google Duo Live Sharing, and the ability to add a specified amount of virtual RAM. The latest One UI skin also brings the ability to turn off Game Optimization Service (GOS) and record voice without unlocking the phone.
If you are a Samsung Galaxy A71 5G or Galaxy F41 user residing in the specified regions, then you are right on the edge of receiving the Android 12 update. Alternatively, you can navigate to Settings >> Software updates to manually check for new updates.
