Samsung rolls out One UI 6.1 to Galaxy A25 5G in Europe

Samsung has updated its Galaxy A25 5G phone in Europe with the major One UI 6.1. People in the US already have this update. Soon, every Galaxy A25 5G phone across the globe will get it too.

The update is quite big, about 2.1 GB. It includes a new security fix from May 2024. The update is being rolled out in a phase wise manner via an OTA.

The update brings many One UI 6.1 Galaxy Ai features to the device, though not all the AI features are added due to hardware limitations. The update adds new things you can do with photos and videos. It has a smart helper that can suggest how to make your photos better. You can also copy parts of one photo and put them in another.

Now, you can add new things to your lock screen. You can change how your alarm sounds and looks too. The Calendar app now lets you put stickers on dates, which can make planning fun.

The update also makes your information safer. It improves Samsung Cloud and adds something called Passkey to help you sign in quickly. It also improves the functionality and stability of apps like Gallery, Calendar, Widgets, Lock Screen, Security, and Clock. As many of the stock apps will be updated to the latest version, the overall performance of the UI and battery will improve

To get this update, go to ‘Settings’ on your phone. Then, scroll down to ‘Software Update.’ Click on it. If you see the update, tap ‘Download and Install’ to start updating.
