Sony Xperia 1 II (Mark 2) has started receiving the Android 11 Update. The update brings the newer November 2020 security patch to the device.
This is a major update but as brings Google‘s latest security patch, it is highly recommended to install the update. The update comes with many bug fixes which were present in the previous build. It also brings stability and performance improvements to the device. Along with all the fixes, it also brings all the goodies of Android 11.
The latest update comes with software version 58.1.A.0.921 and is being rolled out in some parts of the world via OTA (over-the-air). Only users Sony Xperia 1 II (Mark 2) will be getting the update. It may take some time to reach all parts of the world.
Sony Xperia 1 II (Mark 2) To 58.1.A.0.921 November 2020 OTA Is Now Available
If you own a Sony Xperia 1 II (Mark 2), then you may have already received the 58.1.A.0.921 November 2020 Security Patch OTA Update. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings » About phone » Software update, then check for update. If there is no update showing on your device, then wait for a few days for the update to come to your device.
Note: Before installing the update make sure that your device has at-least 50% charged and connect to the Wi-Fi network to avoid the data charges.
