T-Mobile May 2020 security patch rolled out for Galaxy Note 10+ 5G and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition

Two devices on the T-Mobile network have started receiving the May 2020 security patch update. These two devices are Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition.

The T-Mobile Galaxy Note 10+ 5G is receiving the update with software version number N976USQU1BTE2 and the update is around 528MB in size (OTA) while the T-Mobile OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition’s May 2020 security update brings software version number 10.0.35.HD61CB.

Along with the security update, the update optimizes the performance of the device to provide the user with great user experience. The update is being rolled out in the US.

💡 Check OTA Update Manually

Note that the latest firmware update for these two devices have been rolling out via OTA and will take some to arrive completely. If your device isn’t getting the software update yet, you can check for the updates manually.

For Galaxy Note 10+ 5G

  • Go to the System > Software Updates > Check for updates.
  • If the update is available, then download and install it on your device.

For OnePlus 7T Pro 5G Mclaren Edtn

  • Settings – System – System update – Check for update
