After a long wait, the Autobots are finally ready to roll out as Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set to release soon. This upcoming movie will be the seventh installment of the live-action Transformers series.
The movie has a pretty compelling plot as the premise of the movie reads – “In 1994, a pair of archaeologists come into an ancient conflict through globe-trotting adventures that tie in with three factions of Transforms: the Maximals, the Terrorcons, and the Predacons”. The Maximals are the descendants of the Autobots, the Predacons are the descendants of the Decepticons, and the Terrorcons are the villains of the film. After the Transformers series bagged its much-needed reboot in 2018, fans are ready to get more of their favorite Transformers in action.
When is the release date of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is expected to hit the theatre screens on June 9th, 2023. The movie will be a sequel to the 2018 movie, Bumblebee, which took inspiration from Michael Bay’s Series of the past. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be directed by Steven Caple Jr. who is best known for directing Creed II.
Who is in the cast of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts?
Anthony Ramos has been chosen to portray the main character of the upcoming Transformers movie. He will play the role of Noah, an ex-military electronics expert who is trying to support his family in Brooklyn. Meanwhile, Dominique Fishback will be appearing in the movie as Elena, who is an artifact researcher working at a museum where her boss takes all the credit for her work. Tobe Nwigwe and Lauren Velez have been cast in undisclosed roles.
Peter Cullen will be reprising his iconic role as the voice actor of Optimus Prime. Ron Perlman will give the voice to Optimus Primal, the leader of the Maximals who transforms into a gorilla. He has previously portrayed the character in the animated web series “Transformers: Power of the Primes”. Other Transformers who will be appearing in the movie include Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Mirage, Rhinox, Arcee, Cheetor, and the Terrorcons.
