Downloads

  • Download BND-AL10 full firmware (There are three Zip files, download all of them. In case you are asked for a password, use: 4pda)
  • Download Huawei Multi-Tool v8 (Extract and install)
  • Download TWRP image for Honor 7X

Steps To How to Unbrick Huawei Honor 7X (BND-Al10) | Back To Stock Firmware

Step 1. Extract and install the multi-tool. Launch it on your PC and reboot your Honor 7X in fastboot mode by holding the Volume Down key when the device is powered off and connect it to your PC via USB cable.

Step 2. Click on Recovery tab on the multi-tool application and click on Select Image button. Then select the downloaded TWRP image file and finally click on Flash Recovery.

Step 3. Once the flashing is over, disconnect your device and power it off.

Step 4. Extract the contents of the download update.zip file. In the multi-tool software, go to Unbrick tab and click on Launch Huawei Update Extractor.

Step 5. Click on the dot button beside Update File option and select UPDATE.APP file from the extracted folder.

Step 6. Extract the contents in a folder named updateappone by right clicking on the empty space and choosing the option Extract all.

Step 7. After extraction, find the file named Vendor.img and copy it to an external microSD card and place the card on your phone.

Step 8. Reboot your smartphone in recovery mode by pressing Power and Volume Up button together.

Step 9. Go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe from the recovery menu and select all the available partitions and finally swipe at the bottom to wipe it all.

Step 10. Go back to the recovery main menu and select Install > Install IMG. Then browse and select Vendor.img file in the external microSD card and flash it in the Vendor partition only.

Step 11. Once done, switch off you device and connect it to your PC in fastboot mode.

Step 12. Extract the Zip file update_full_BND-device-model_hw_your-region (whichever is appropriate) and you will find UPDATE.APP file. Extract it the same way as before.

Step 13. You will find CUST.img file in the extracted folder. In case it is not there, you will find version.img and rename it to CUST.img.

Step 14. Copy this Img file to updateappone folder. Go to Multi-tool software and go to Unbrick tab and then click on Specify folder. Then select the updateappone folder.

Step 15. Click on the Unbrick button and wait for the process to get completed.

Reboot your phone and your Huawei Honor 7X is unbricked.
