Step 1. You must have ADB and Fastboot installed on your computer.

Step 2. If you are using Windows 8 or above, you need to turn off driver signature verification.

Step 3. Press the hold the Power button of your OnePlus 5T for 40 seconds to turn it off.

Step 4. Connect OnePlus 5T with your computer via USB cable and while connecting, press the Volume Up button of the device.

Step 5. Open Device Manager on your computer. To do that, right-click on My Computer > select Device Manager option.

Step 6. Download Qualcomm Driver Zip file from the download section and extract it.

Step 7. In the Device Manager, find your device either by the name of QHUSB_Bulk or Unknown Device.

  • Right-click on that and select the option ‘Update Device Software’. Then browse to the extracted folder where you have Qualcomm Driver and select it to install.
  • After installation is complete, your device must be recognized as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.
