The Xiaomi Redmi 9A has finally been updated to a newer update, MIUI 12.05.0 via Global Stable ROM. The update bumps the software version to V12.0.5.0.QCDMIXM. The update brings August 2020 security patch to the device.
The device received the V12.0.4.0.QCDEUXM update in Europe a couple of days ago. If the Global update is not available on your device, you can manually flash it. Thanks to the awesome community the Redmi 9A’s MIUI V12.0.5.0.QCDMIXM Global ROM is made available for download, so anyone who wants to flash the ROM manually on Redmi 9A can do that.
You can manually check the software update on your device whether it’s available on your device or not. Head over to the device Settings –> About Phone –> Check for Software Update. The update will be rolled out globally in an incremental manner and it should take some time to appear on all the units.
